About Me

Having studied Zoology and an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking, I now aspire to build a career within the natural history television industry. I have been lucky enough to be involved in a wide range of projects such as the Festival of Nature, and the Aardman Slapstick Comedy Festival, which have allowed me to gain a diverse set of filmmaking skills. One project that I co-produced in 2015 was nominated at both the WildFilmFest and BWPA Awards and my final film produced for my master’s degree, Dartmoor Ponies: The Final Round Up, was screened at both the EQUUS Film Festival in New York and the Element Film Festival in Bozeman, Montana.

In May 2016 I joined Equine Productions, a production company that produces high quality, bespoke films for all equine-related industries. I am currently working as an Assistant Producer / Production Manager, helping with developing creatives, budgeting, storyboarding,  filming and editing. Watch some of the work I have done with them by clicking on the Equine Productions page.

I enjoy the challenges that filmmaking brings and am always looking out for new stories to bring to life on screen. I hope to continue producing my own work whilst also working within the industry to open up more opportunities for the future. Eventually I aspire to be a self-shooting producer and produce documentaries that make a difference.

Testimonials and comments from clients

Kathy and I met whilst regularly filming live music events for Sofar Sounds. It wasn’t long before I realised she would be a great person to assist me with my professional work as a wedding videographer. It’s crucial that anyone who assists me on the day is reliable, passionate about their work and has a positive and professional approach, whilst being able to deliver quality results. She was able to quickly build a rapport with the couple and their guests on the day, to help get the best quality video footage.

Kathy handled everything I asked of her and she was a pleasure to work with. She was enthusiastic and dedicated, and I felt comfortable letting her film independently.

I look forward to working with her again in the future and would recommend her without hesitation. – Rob Taylor, Wedding Videographer

I’ve had a look at the film – its great & having the map and the fast paced walking route is a really good feature. Thanks for your hard work on this. It’s really good quality and very informative for just 10 min!”                          – Stefanie Oliver, Student Ambassador Training Video

It looks absolutely perfect from my point of view – exactly what we were after. Thanks again for taking it on and turning it around so quickly, I’m chuffed!” – Max Boon, Festival of Nature promo video
