When I heard the news that BBC Earth were looking for a new presenter, like a lot of other passionate naturalists, I got very excited! The opportunity to share my passion for nature and inspire people to explore the outdoors, is one that I knew I couldn’t miss.

I studied money spiders for my dissertation at University and so I thought this would be a great subject to present for my application video. It’s one that I’m passionate about and one that so many people can relate to…I mean, who hasn’t had one in their hair at some point?!

Although it’s a worldwide search and my chances are slim to none, there’s no harm in trying. I’ve also had a lot of positive feedback from friends and family so maybe this will be an avenue I explore further in the future….watch this space!
